Adele Byers Moody

The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces Funeral Services for Adele Byers Moody, age 89 of Hiawassee who passed away on Thursday morning, December 23, 2021.

She will be warmly remembered by all who knew her, but especially missed by her family: daughter, Diana Turner; granddaughter, Kim Groome and her husband, Cody; sister & brother-in-law, Jeanette & Roy Cole; brother-in-law, Wallace Allen. Adele was preceded in death by her parents, Stoy & Ada Byers; sister, Shelby Allen; and grandson, Dillon Turner.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, December 27, 2021 at McConnell Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Steven Taylor and Rev. Danny Byers officiating. Interment will follow at Osborn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until the service begins.
