Amelia Annette Taylor, of Blue Ridge GA, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Pruitt Health in Blue Ridge, GA. Annette was born on September 3, 1939, in Winter Haven, FL to the late William S. and Sally Mae Rizer.

Annette was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years, Farrell Taylor and her treasured brother, Bill Rizer.

Annette is survived by her daughter Marilou Franklin, grandsons Robert Franklin and Christian Franklin, granddaughter Noelle Franklin, sister-in-law Terry Rizer, nephew Doug (Meridith) Rizer, nieces Cathie (David) Brazell and Melinda (Eric) Stokes, and other extended family members.

Annette was a lifelong caregiver. She served as an ICU/CCU nurse at St Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta for over 30 years. After retirement, Annette continued serving her community as a part-time nurse for the Atlanta Cardiology Group in Blue Ridge. Annette enjoyed traveling, snowbirding in Mexico Beach, FL, and spending time with her family and friends. The years Annette spent at their mountain cabin on a creek in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her closest friends and family nearby were always her favorite memories.

Funeral Service, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating.

The family will receive friends at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
