Anna Mae Walden Wright, age 91, of McCaysville, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021, at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs.Wright was born April 26, 1930, in Akron, OH, to the late Henry Walden and the late Ida Panter Walden. She was a lifelong resident of Fannin County and was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Anna Mae was an avid Braves fan and enjoyed reading. Affectionately known by all as “Grannie”, she especially loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Wright, son, Joe Wright, sisters, Maggie Harper, Margie Nazerian, Nancy Davis, and her brother, Howard Walden.

Survivors include her son, James (Patty McCook) Wright, daughter, Brenda (John) Jones, son, John (Kim) Wright, sister, Linda Caylor, bother, Douglas Walden, sister, Yvonne Dills, grandchildren, Shawn (Annie) Rymer, Willy Wright, Ben (Cassie) Wright, Sydney Wright, Angela Summers Ritz, Emily Wright, great-grandchildren, Cameron Rymer, Lilly Rymer, Livi Wright, Emma Ritz, and Sutton Wright.
