The Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mrs. Bessie Nan Robinson, age 67 of Blairsville who went to meet her Lord and Savior on December 19, 2020 after a brief COVID related illness.
Bess was born in Brewton, AL on September 9, 1953 to the late Oliver Milton Smith and Helen Coogle Smith. With a sacrificial love and genuine care, Bess placed others needs above her own. Her sweet nature and soft laughter made all around her love her. Bess embraced her title of wife and mother and managed her home with excellence - keeping everything running smoothly. Bess’s organizational skills shined as she worked for years with Georgia Farm Bureau. She also was a wonderful seamstress mending and customizing sports jerseys and jackets.
She will be missed by all who knew her, but especially by her family: husband of nearly 47 years, Michael Robinson; daughter Trina Robinson; brother & sister in law, Jake & Betty Smith; mother in law Patricia Robinson; sister in law and husband, Traci & Stanley Garrett; 3 fur babies, Peanut, Cinnamon, and Red. Many other extended family members also share in her legacy. Bess was preceded in death by her sister & brother in law, Marsha & Tommy Tremer, father in law Marvin Robinson, sister in laws Terry Boyd and Debbie Robinson.
A celebration of Bess’s life will be held at a later date.
