Betty Joe Loudermilk

Mrs. Betty Joe Bell Loudermilk, age 85, of Turtletown, TN passed away at her home on May 13, 2023. She was born March 08, 1938, to Claude and Etta Curtis Bell. She was an employee of the Polk County School System, retiring as a bus driver after 38 years. Mrs. Loudermilk loved her family and enjoyed flowers. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Blake Loudermilk, daughter, Ginger (Gerry) Reed, son, Mickey (Sheila) Loudermilk, son, Tim Loudermilk. Three grandchildren, Shannon Reed, Chris Reed, and Jennifer Denton, and seven great-grandchildren, Luke Breanna, Logan, Rebecca, Justin, Owen, and Natalie. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Rickey Loudermilk.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 15, 2023, at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Turtletown, with the Rev. Jonathan Smith and Rev. Mark Reed Officiating. Music will be provided by Pam Ensley, Rose Cross, and Nathan Ensley.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Shannon Reed, Gerry Reed, Luke Reed, Glenn Padgett, Travis Jory, and Tyler Jory.
