Mr. Billy Blair Jarrett, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, in Murphy, NC. Mr. Billy was born January 27, 1934, in Arista, West Virginia, to the late Alozan Jarrett and the late Belle Bland. Mr. Jarrett has been a resident of Murphy, NC for over seventeen years. He was an Airforce veteran and worked for General Motors in the parts division for over twenty-five years. He was preceded in death by his parents Alozon Jarrett and Belle Bland, wife Lottie Jarrett, and brother David Jarrett.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Helen Stiles Jarrett of Murphy, NC, nephews, Steven Jarrett of Murphy, NC, and Douglas Jarrett of Alpharetta, Ga, and niece Jamie (Douglas) Rehor of Cummings, Ga.
The family will be having a memorial service at a later date.
