Brenda Ann Holliman

Brenda Ann Holliman, 79, of Copperhill, passed away at her home Thursday, November 10, 2022. Brenda was born March 5, 1943, in Tampa, FL, to the late Victor and Eva Boehning. 

She was married to the late Durward Holliman, and they were blessed with one son and one daughter. She and her husband moved here in 1986 from Spring Hill, FL, and Brenda has been part of the community for the past 36 years. She was a devoted member of Harbor Ministries Church in McCaysville and an avid bingo player; she enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends. 

Brenda was preceded in death by husband, Durward Holliman; father, Victor Boehning; mother, Eva Boehning; sister, Frankie Kinster; brother, Ernest Boehning; sister, Dona Greene; brother, Victor Boehning, Jr. 

Survivors include a daughter Tina Mintz; son-in-law David Mintz; granddaughters, Emily Mintz; Amy Mintz; and Graycee Mintz. A son Richard Holliman; grandsons, Zak Holliman and Kye Holliman; granddaughter Richelle Faerber; sister-in-law Virginia Boehning; sister-in-law Alice Boehning; close personal friend of the family Kimberly Pritchard, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM from Finch-Cochran Funeral Home, with Pastor Denise Caldwell officiating.

Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery.

The following gentlemen have been ask to serve as pallbearers, Jeff Boehning, Kacy Boehning, Ty Boehning, Johathan Boehning, Kacy Panter, Jesse Cooper, and Jake Cooper. Honorary pallbearers, Tyler Boehning and Joey Korn.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Saturday from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM.
