Mr. Buell C. Thomason, loving Father and CB& I employee, age 60 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007 in Alabama. Mr. Thomason was born Wednesday, June 5, 1946 in Cherokee Co, NC to the late Charlie Thomason and the late Augusta Beavers Thomason. A member of Star Creek Baptist Church, McCay Masonic Lodge#423 F&M, Chapter #14, Summit Council # 19, Blue Ridge Mountain Commandry, Knights Templar and the Yaarab Temple of the Shrine.
Survivors include: wife, Kathy Thomason of Blue Ridge, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Yvette & Billy Doby of Marietta, daughter, Amelia Thomason of Alpharetta, GA, son, Cody Thomason of Blue Ridge, sister, Frankie Sisson.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Reverend Ernest German officiating. Interment was in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites by the McCay Masonic Lodge F & Am.. Serving as pallbearers are: Timmy Hilton, Carl Hilton, Steve Morris, David Ambrose, David Brawley and Dennies Hardeman.
The Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
