David Russell

David Allen Russell, 60, of Silver Springs, Florida, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. David was born February 18, 1962, in Orlando, FL to Claude and Annette Russell. David was preceded in death by father, Claude Russell; mother, Annette Russell; and sister, Karen Nelder.

He is survived by his wife Teresa Russell; son Jason David Russell; daughter Danielle Marie Penrod; son in law Tyler Penrod; granddaughter Heidi Penrod; grandson Asher Penrod; sister Angela Russell; sister Dawn Ylipelkonen.

David loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a member of Phi Delta Kappa GA. Epsilon Fraternity. His favorite pastime included riding his Harley. He was a retired corrections officer, a career he was passionate about. David had a loving heart and was a friend to many.

David will be missed deeply by family, friends, and all who knew him. He will be forever in our hearts.
