Debra Elizabeth King

Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces graveside services for Debra Elizabeth King, age 65, of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 in Chatuge Regional Hospital in Hiawassee, Georgia.

Debra never met a stranger, and she would always talk to anyone that she met. Debra loved everyone immediately when she met them and would normally hug them. She will always be remembered as a loving, kind, very special person. Those of you who grew up in Blairsville can probably remember Debra and seeing her at King's 5 & 10 on the square, where she accompanied her mother on many days. Debra was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd King.

Surviving family members that will treasure the memory Debra include her mother, Elizabeth Plott King, of Blairsville; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Karen King, of Blairsville; nephew, Heath King, and niece, Hallye King; niece and her husband, Brittany and Ethan Martin; nephew and his wife, Zach and Madison Odom; nephew, Tyler Odom; great nephews, Ian King and Stokley Martin, and great niece, Kori Martin; all of Blairsville.

Graveside services have been scheduled for Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. to be held at Union Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blairsville. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Heath King, Zach Odom, Tyler Odom, Adam Crisp, Ethan Martin, and Blade Szczepanski. There will be visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 12 noon until 2:15 p.m.
