Ethel Florence Schaff, age 90, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
She was born Ethel Florence Cowles, July 7, 1930, in Spearfish, South Dakota. She moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1961, then to Jensen Beach, Florida in 1996, and finally to Blairsville, Georgia in 2016.
Upon her retirement from Cement Products in Lakeland, FL, she relocated to the Venture Three community in Jensen Beach, FL and eagerly immersed herself in its many social activities, making many dear and lasting friendships. Her retirement years were also filled with travels and cruising with her children, creating beautiful stained glass pieces, many craft projects, and spending time with her children, her greatest joy in life.
Ethel had a very kind, loving and warm heart; and she will be remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Ethel was preceded in death by her son, Del Schaff, and her sister, Joyce Nelson. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Demaio and husband, John, of Blairsville, Georgia; her son Duane Schaff and wife, Marty, of Bellevue, Washington; her sister Ramona Alleman of Locust Grove, Georgia; and her brother Ernest Cowles and wife, Ellison, of Rancho Murieta, California; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
No events are scheduled at this time. Ethel will be laid to rest in Lakeland, Florida.
