Eugene Wilburn Collie

Eugene "Gene" Wilburn Collie, age 76 of Bremen, GA passed away January 25, 2022 at his home.   He was born March 19, 1945 in Marietta, GA to the late Walter Collie and the late Thelma Motes Collie.

He was a Veteran serving in the US Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his brother. Billy Collie, and his sister, Glenda Collie. Mr. Collie was a member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed fishing, Nascar racing and legend Dale Earnhardt, visiting flea markets, a lively sense of humor, and scary movies.

He is survived by life partner, Brenda Abercrombie; son, David (Sheryl) Collie; daughter, Rachel (Mikel) Culver; grandchildren, Kyle Collie, Amanda Maley, Michael Culver, Emily Collie, Zach Culver, Davie Collie, Bailey Culver, and Daniel Collie; and great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Hayden, Brayden, Landon, Brody, and Easton.

Funeral services: Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Rhodes and Rev. Jackie Brooks officiating. Military Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Saturday, January 29, 2022, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
