James Holland Galloway

James Holland Galloway, age 92, of Epworth, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Pruitt Health Care. Mr. Galloway was born April 8, 1928, in McCaysville, GA, to the late Tommy Galloway and the late Lillie Thomas Galloway. He was a member of Bethel Church and had retired from the Tennessee Copper Company after 40 years as a Boiler Maker. James enjoyed hunting, fishing and telling stories. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Galloway, and mother, Lillie Galloway.

Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Katherine Hulda Galloway, his daughters, Deborah Stepp and Patricia Gober, sister, Marie Deal, grandchildren, Steven Cearley, Felicia Jarrell, Jeff Millsaps, and Jackie Waits, great-grandchildren, Jessica Cearley, Ashley Cook, Amanda Millsaps, Alex Millsaps, Brenden Waits, and Kiersten Waits.

Services: Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Church Cemetery.
