John Davenport was born on September 23, 1933, in Morganton, GA, to the late Herman Davenport and the late Alcie Davenport.
John is survived by his wife, Thelma Davenport of Tifton, GA and his son, Keith (Gina) Davenport of Hoschton, GA.
John is preceded in death by his brothers, Quinton Davenport and Cline Davenport.
A graveside service for John Davenport will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 2:00 PM from Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Burial: Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Morganton, GA.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm.
