Josephine T. Deitz

Josephine T. Deitz, age 77, of Marble, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Murphy Medical Center. Mrs. Deitz was born May 18, 1944, in Sampson County, NC, to the late Willie LeRoy Tevepaugh and the late Versia Wood Tevepaugh. Josephine had lived over 50 years in the Marble area. She loved spoiling her kids, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie LeRoy Tevepaugh, mother, Versia Wood Tevepaugh, husband, Charles J. Deitz, and grandchild, Skylar Garrison.

Survivors include her daughters, Betty Jo Streeter and Missy (Ted) Shaw, son, J.T. Deitz, sisters, Daphine Minehew and Mary Helen Tevepaugh, brothers, Junior Tevepaugh, Henry Tevepaugh, Thomas Tevepaugh, James Tevepaugh, and Jason Tevepaugh, grandchildren, Danny Streeter, Justin Streeter, Brittany Streeter, Nikki Roberts, Christopher Phillips, Matthew McTaggart, and Erica Wallace, great-grandchildren, Benjamin Michelsen and Tanin Streeter.
