Judith "Judy" Ellen Kendall

Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announcesFuneral Services for Judith "Judy" E. Kendall, age 74, of Skeenah Gap Rd. in Blairsville, who passed away on Friday, August 6th, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Judy was born May 13, 1947 in Fannin County, GA. Judy was an avid seamstress. She owned and operated Judy's Alteration Shop for 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, baking cakes, and reading a good book. Judy loved her children. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Payne; her mother, Bessie E. Patterson; and her brother, William "Jackie" Payne.

Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Jimmy & Patricia Kendall of Ellijay; son, Johnny Kendall of Blairsville; daughter & son-in-law, Linda & Danny Melton of Blairsville; and grandchildren, Ashley Kendall, Danielle Melton, Chris Kendall, Jeremy Curlee, and Kevin and Chris Teague. Also sharing in her legacy are several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her loving furbaby- "Little Man".

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville with Rev. William Sisum officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow View Cemetery. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Jimmy Kendall, Danny Melton, Chris Kendall, Jeremy Curlee, Patrick Fix, and Keith Hunter.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 until 9 pm.
