Judy Irene Troy, retired, age 79, of Suches, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021.
Judy was born November 24, 1941 in Suches, Georgia to the late Willie and Velma Watkins.
Judy retired from Pasco County, Florida, Road and Bridge Department and moved back to what she called home in Fannin County. She was an avid gardener, an amazing cook and the kindest and most giving of souls. She was a doting wife, mother and especially grandmother/great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Edward Troy; children Chris (Jeff) Mason, and Shelly (Craig) Utley; grandchildren, Nickolas (Jessica) Mason, Madison Mason, and Ashlyn McPherson Utley; great-grandchild, Theodora Mason; siblings, Mildred (Willard, deceased) Levi, Marie (Harold, deceased) Long, Marvine (Tommy, deceased) Crawford, Kathleen (Leroy) Head, Florine (David, deceased) Chastain, Patsy (Robert, deceased) Simmonds, Dianne (Merritt) Wilson, Betty Dailey, Shirley Watkins, Larry Watkins; and all of her beloved neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers, J. N. and Nathan Watkins, and sisters, Cecilia Rutledge, Joan and Rachel Watkins.
No funeral services will be held. A celebration of life with family will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
