Julie Jean Ladd

Julie Jean Ladd, age 62 of Blue Ridge, passed away January 25, 2021, in Blairsville, GA. Mrs. Ladd was born November 8, 1958, in Fort Myers, FL to David Denkhaus and the late Jo Ann Denkhaus. A member of Calvary Baptist Church in Smithfield, Virginia, she was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jo Ann Denkhaus, and loving sister, Jill Denkhaus. Julie was dedicated to leading others to Jesus, sharing the Gospel and serving the Lord. She dearly loved her family and cherished her grandchildren.

Survivors include: loving husband, Ed Ladd; father, David Denkhaus; sons, Jeffrey Weeks and family, Cody Ladd and family; brother, David Denkhaus and family; grandchildren, Logan Beau Weeks, Cayden Edward Ladd, Kyra and Kaylyn Weeks; and her beloved dog, Lola.

Memorial services: Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Fort Myers, FL with Pastor Larry Hobbs officiating and an additional service on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Smithfield Virginia with Pastor Greg Gray.
