Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mrs. Kathy L. Deen, age 60 of Blairsville who passed away on Friday May 29th, 2020.
"I am with you still, in the quiet morning rush of birds circling in flight. I am the bright stars that shine at night. I am the diamond glint on winter's snow. In spirit, I am always with you wherever you go."
Mrs. Deen was born on November 22nd, 1959 in Macon. GA to her late parents, Lawrence Felton and Myrtis (Floyd) Mosely. After retiring as an elementary school teacher for many years, Kathy and her husband moved to the North Georgia Mountains where she was very proud to call home. She loved mountains, waterfalls, and most of all critters, which stirred a passion in her soul. She will be missed in every sunrise and sunset.

She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Deen, Jr.; sons, Thomas Deen and James (Lizzie) and daughter Scarlett Deen; sister, Beverly Mosely and Alice Bergman; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Mary Deen. Many other extended family and friends also survive.
