Martha Caroline Hendrix

Martha Caroline Hendrix (Carol) passed away Friday, December 3. 2021. Carol was born on January 2, 1970, in Barrow, Alaska. She moved to Murphy, North Carolina as a child and remained a resident. She was a graduate of Murphy High School and a member of Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church. Carol loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking and camping. She cared for nature and had a soft spot for stray animals. Carol was loving and compassionate and made friends easily.

Carol was the daughter of Wanda Hendrix Ballew and the late Charles Franklin Hendrix.

Surviving Carol is her mother, Wanda, daughter, Summer Campbell, son, Nathaniel Welch, son, Robert Campbell and significant other, Miranda White, grandson, Asher Campbell, sister, Sara Hendrix Nantz and husband, Eric, sister, Donna Hendrix Strubbe and husband, Todd, brother, G.W. Hendrix and significant other, Donna Anderson, and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service is scheduled for family and close friends.
