Mrs. Nikki Jean Ross Turner, age 65, of Riverdale, Georgia, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007. Nikki was born Saturday, April 12, 1941 in Haywood , NC. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA and a member of the Model A Restoration Club. She loved restoring old sewing machines, Bowling and loved to paint pictures.
Survivors include: husband, Kenneth Turner of Riverdale, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Donna & Chuck Tumlin of Rome, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Keith & Diane Turner of Mineral Bluff, GA, son, Dennis Turner of Morganton, GA, grandchildren, Justin & Amanda Turner, grandchildren, Emily, Travis and Tucker Tunlin.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Ike Reighard and Reverend Cecil Dutton, officiating. Interment followed in New Hope Baptist Cemetery in Fannin County, GA.
Serving as pallbearers were: Darwin Turner, Justin Turner, Clyde Cruise, Billy Garland, Joe Bailey, and Roy Scroggs.
Arrangement entrusted to The Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge.
