Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mrs. Penny Lin Diamond, age 71 of Blairsville, GA who passed on Friday October 30th, 2020.
Mrs. Diamond was born on April 22nd, 1949 in Jewell, Iowa to her late parents, Berva (Arnold) and Duane Doolittle. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a nephew, Joseph Bravard. Penny was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, she had a love for her dogs, long drives, crossword puzzles, and her family and friends. She was loved by everyone she met. Before her retirement, she and her husband Duane owned and operated Diamond Cemetery Lettering for 25 years. Penny was employed by the Sheriff's Department of Ida County, Iowa, and also worked at the Best Western in Cherokee, Iowa.

Penny is survived by her husband, Duane Diamond of Blairsville, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Ryan and Dana of Ida Grove, Iowa, Shane and Tobi of Amelia Island, FL; 6 grandchildren, sisters, Deborah (John) Waldorf of Maryland, and Denise (Ken) of Boone, Iowa.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville.
