The Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces Graveside Services for Ruby Bridges Norton, age 84 of Blairsville.
Ruby leaves behind to cherish her memory: her son, Ricky Bridges and daughter in law, Pauline Bridges of Blairsville; brother, Doyle Collins of Gainesville, GA; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Cecil Bridges; and her second husband, Troy Norton, and son, Danny Bridges.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Hester officiating. Special Music will be provided by Debra Collins and David Chatham. Gentlemen selected to serve as pallbearers are: Troy Collins, Jerry Collins, Junior Bridges, Shawn Mashburn, Terry Barrett, and Marty Ledford.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11 am until 1 p.m.
Flowers are gladly accepted, but if you prefer, memorial donations can be made to: Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery Fund; Old Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund; or Old Brasstown Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
