Ulyssis "Boots" Mashburn

Ulyssis  "U. G. 'Boots'" Mashburn, age 81, of Conley, GA passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Southern Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Mashburn was born April 28, 1940, in Morganton, GA, to the late John Mashburn and the late Gertrude Collins Mashburn.  He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. Mr. Mashburn enjoyed going to church, eating out, and spending time at Wal-Mart. "Boots" was preceded in death by nine siblings, including his brothers, Cecil Mashburn, Doyle Mashburn, Ralph Mashburn, Hoyt Mashburn, Charles Edward Mashburn, and James Merle Mashburn, and his sisters, Ailene Der Cammen, Madelyn Hayes, and Elizabeth Newborn.  

Survivors include: brother-in-law, Donald Hayes, and sisters-in-law, Flora Belle Mashburn, Betty Mashburn, and Marie Mashburn.

Funeral services: Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Andy Bates officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Morganton, GA.

Family will meet with friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
