William Boyd Hogsed

William Boyd Hogsed, Jr. age 67 of Andrews, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020, in Knoxville. He was born December 29, 1952, in Murphy, NC, to the late William Boyd Hogsed, Sr. and the late Betty Howard Hogsed. Mr. Hogsed had attended Old Fashion Baptist Church; he was employed at Moog Industries in Murphy at the time of his death, and had also worked at American Thread and OMC; he enjoyed watching all kinds of sports. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Ray Hogsed.

Survivors include: sister, Brenda (Eddie) Garrett, brothers, Charles (Laura) Hogsed, and Bruce (Terrie) Hogsed, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services: Saturday, May 2, 2020, at 2:00 pm at the Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Hoyt Brown officiating. Pallbearers: Travis Hogsed, Chris Whitten, Josh Whitten, Christopher Roper, Collin Hogsed, and Maurice Piercy.
