William David Absher, Sr.

William David Absher Sr., age 71, of Cherrylog, GA, passed away on April 9, 2022, in Jasper, GA. He loved whittling, singing and playing the guitar, gardening, watching football and auto racing, muscle cars, and his family. He never knew a stranger and was always the life of any party.

William is survived by his wife, Cathy Absher; daughters, Dana Absher and Dara (Adam) Mohon; son, William David Absher Jr; sister, Wanda Sue (Leon) Davis; grandchildren, David Scott Martel, Amber Dawn, Amy Lynn, Ashley Rose, Alyssa Marlene, Gabriel Lee Mohon, Camden Blaine Mohon, Aaralyn Grace Mohon, Oden Hayes Mohon, Raya Kate Mohon, Bren Everette Mohon, Brittany Nicole Stepp, and Chadwick Lamar Stepp; and many nieces and nephews.

William is preceded in death by his father, Herman Absher; mother, Francis Absher; sister, Dell Ussery, brother, Lewis Absher, and sister, Rebecca (Becky) (John) Manross.
