William Richard Rahn, age 58, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia.
Bill was born Sept 12, 1963 in St. Petersburg, FL. He graduated in 1981 from Keswick Christian School,in Seminole, FL. During and after high school he worked for the family business, Rahn Trellis until 1991. When he followed his dad’s advice to "find something you love to do, and you’ll never work a day in your life". He found his passion in video production in 1984 when he started his video production business in St. Petersburg, FL, then left the family business to work in video production full time in 1991. He has helped start television ministries throughout the U.S. In 2009, he began writing screen plays and making movies. Bill loved being on his boat with family and friends, and encouraging people to do what they loved.
Surviving family members include his wife, Amy; children: Jennifer (Eric) Fowler, Jeniece (Allen) Williams, and Summer Rahn; grandchildren: Carson, Hunter, Haylee, Taylyn, and Savana; mother, Patsy Rahn Daniel; grandmother, Jean Hattaway; Three sisters, Sandra (Bill) Benz, Lynne (Jim) Stokkeland, Brenda (Zeke) Bryant one brother, Rick (Grace) Rahn, two aunts, Shirley (Ward) Wolley, Shirley (Bill) Rooker. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, C. Elmer Hattaway, father, Richard Rahn, Stepfather, Tom W. Daniel, brother, Dan Rahn.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee, with Pastor Steve Taylor officiating. Burial was in Osborn Cemetery. The family met with friends before the funeral services between the hours of 12 noon until 2:00 p.m.
